LOUIS — A St. Peters woman accused of burning down a building in Puerto Rico wants to be released to live with her sister while her case moves through the court system, her lawyer said Wednesday.</p><p>Danielle Bertothy, 36, was arrested last week and indicted on a single count of arson after authorities said she destroyed four businesses during a drunken tirade while on vacation. Prosecutors want her to be sent to Puerto Rico where she would face charges.</p>

LOUIS — A push to bring back red-light cameras to discourage reckless driving in the city may have just gotten more complicated.</p><p>Aldermanic President Megan Green has insisted that a new red-light camera bill must be paired with another requiring aldermanic review — plus approval of all police surveillance tools, from cameras to artificial intelligence. </p>

<p>The City of St. Louis is on the verge of making it easier for residents to get a photo identification card.</p><p>The Board of Aldermen on Friday unanimously approved the creation of the Gateway Card program. Once the measure is signed by Mayor Tishaura Jones, the treasurer’s office will have six months to roll out the program. That office will also administer the program.</p>
